What is your current area of research interest? My current area of research focus is the sustainable development.

Why did you choose to study at ASE? After completing my Bachelor’s in applied mathematics, I wanted to apply my knowledge to the social sciences, in particular to economics. In my opinion, ASE is best option for me to apply my skills to the field of economics.

What are your plans after you finish your degree at ASE? For me, ASE is a stepping stone. After my Masters in Mathematics, Economics, and Statistics, I would like to continue my studies abroad at the PhD level.

What are your future career goals? I would like to use my technical knowledge to help Africa, and more specifically my country of Burkina Faso to develop. By using my knowledge in the social sciences, I hope to provide my government and other African institutions sound policy advice, so they can make good choices. I am also interested in teaching the future generation of Africa.

What would your advice be to future students of ASE? To the future students of ASE, we have an opportunity to make develop Africa together. Future students should not hesitate to work hard for themselves, for their families, for their communities, and for their countries.
