Kenneth Houngbedji

About

Kenneth Houngbedji has completed his PhD in Economics at the Paris School of Economics (France) where he did a Masters in Public Policy and Development. He also graduated from the Ecole Nationale de la Statistique et de l’Analyse Economique (ENSAE) in Dakar, Senegal, as engineer in statistics. He studies household choices in developing countries with the aim to help design and assess public policies. His current research focuses on the effects of land policies on different domains including time allocation, investment, productivity, intra-household relations and gender. Prior to his doctoral studies he worked as researcher evaluating learning outcomes at PASEC (Programme d’Analyse des Systèmes Educatifs de la CONFEMEN), where he designed, supervised and carried out educational surveys in Sub-Saharan Africa.
