About

Previous Degree: I graduated from ENAM (Ecole Nationale d'Economie Appliquée et de Management) in 2013 with a bachelor’s degree in Financial Administration and a specialization in Planning and Local Development. Since then, I have completed various internships in local and central administrations.
What languages do you speak? French, English
What did you choose to study from ASE? I choose ASE because it offered me the opportunity to continue my training in development studies with an unexpected high standard not often offered Benin. It also promised the improvement of my English skills. Finally, I appreciated the financial aid offered, which is a combination of scholarships, a work contract called "work study," and the possibility to participate in IREEP research to significantly reduce "out of pocket" expenses.
What do you enjoy most about studying at ASE? I really appreciate the teamwork at ASE. We work together almost every evening.
Previous research experience: I had worked with Professor Simon Gnanssounou during my undergraduate experience on a case study of the local economy.
What are your plans after you finish your degree at ASE? At the end of my training I would like to work in a development institution or organization within the field of governance and political economy. I will continue conducting research while gaining at least two years of professional experience before completing my training with a PhD in Public Policy, focused on political analysis and program evaluation. This will allow me to become more efficient in my work.
What is your current area of research interest? Governance and Political Economy
What would your advice be to future students of ASE? They should be prepared to work hard.
